Schools

South Gloucestershire Leisure, along with the Dolphin pool in Filton, teach the majority of school children in South Gloucestershire to swim. A strategic swimming group plans the swimming provision to ensure joined-up services that maximise the opportunity to learn. We are determined to help even more children swim. This page has been written specifically for primary schools who undertake swimming for their pupils.

We work with the Amateur Swimming Association delivering Top-Up lessons using central government funding.

Aquafit combines aerobics with body conditioning, whilst the buoyancy of the water supports your body weight reducing wear and tear on joints and muscles.
