We bet you see us making sure the equipment is clean, your paperwork is up to date and doing lots of other admin tasks, but what gets us really excited is working with you! We've spent time (sometimes years) training to get our qualifications in physiology and nutrition. It's all in our heads which is nice, but not much use unless we can use it to help you.
We offer Personal Training Sessions where you can spend an hour with one of us as you work your way around the gym. We'll advise you on the exact exercises to do and help you carry them out. Most of our equipment has lots of settings or options. If you do the maths it's quite staggering. So this is where we can help. Want to lose some weight? Drop a few inches off your tummy? Improve your stamina for a half-marathon? Get more mobility back after an accident or illness? These and any other goals can all be achieved in many ways. Personal Training gives us the chance to work with you one-to-one to deliver the best you can get.
It's all about helping you workout smarter and usually not harder. In fact our experience shows that most people need to exercise more gently than they do to reap the biggest rewards. You won't catch us shouting at you, demanding more effort - you're not in the Marine Corps.
As you'd expect we only employ the best and all our Personal Trainers are on the Register of Exercise Professionals at level 2 or above.
