Human Resources Assistant - Job Description
Based at Head Office - Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre
£18,870 - £20,400
37 hours per week

You will provide a comprehensive, professional and customer focused HR support service ensuring compliance with South Gloucestershire Leisure's policy and employment law. This will include advising managers and employees on general policy and procedural requirements, preparing and issuing contracts of employment, arranging and assisting in investigations for disciplinary and grievance cases and dealing with maternity and sickness cases including home visits and liaising with Occupational Health.
Ideally you will have the Certificate in Personnel Practice (or equivalent), and considerable relevant experience. You should be computer literate and have experience of communicating clearly and logically both orally and in writing and you will have excellent attention to detail. An ability to work in a confidential environment is essential.

Would you like to help improve Leisure Centres in South Gloucestershire to ensure that local people have access to high quality Sport and Leisure Facilities?
South Gloucestershire Leisure is a Charitable Trust running 8 sports centres. We are looking to recruit more Trustees to work with us at a strategic level setting plans and overseeing the management of the Leisure Centres. Trustees' key remit is to ensure the charity fulfils its charitable objectives and to ensure good governance in the running of the charities.
We are particularly interested in recruiting Trustees with experience of Human Resources or Marketing.
