Class Descriptions

2's company - 3's a blast! Catch up on all the latest gossip, have some ‘me-time' and start to feel and look better. There's a stack of evidence stating that exercising in groups is more motivating. Our fitness classes run throughout the week, morning to night, so you can fit them into your lifestyle. All of them are good for general fitness, and each type has its own particular benefits:

Aerobics
Do you want to get rid of any extra inches? Aerobics classes are designed to promote fat burning, so you'll not only feel great but look better too! Some classes use a step to help you burn even more calories.

Body Conditioning
If you're like us you might well have some stubborn areas that are looser than you'd like. Maybe your bum, your thighs, your arms... these classes focus on toning your muscles and tightening them up.

Dance-based Fitness
The last time I went to a nightclub I had a great time, dancing away with my friends. Our dance-based classes allow you to let your hair down without the bouncers, spilt drinks and high heels. Hip Hop, Jazz, Disco, Line-dancing... there's a class for you.

Circuits
Control your own pace and effort. Work on your own, with a friend or as part of a team. Really popular with both men and women it's a complete fitness workout, based on stations: sit-ups, sprints, dumbbells, benches etc... there's a range of equipment as you move around.

Spinning
Aerobics on bikes - no maps required! The UK's fastest growing group exercise class uses stationary bikes to give you a fantastic all-over body workout.  Don't worry; you won't get left behind as you set how hard you work with a control on the bike. Our instructor leads you from a bike at the front through a variety of tempos all to the rhythm of the music.

Aquafit
Be cool in the pool with this all-over body workout! From really gentle to something higher tempo, it's good for everyone, particularly if you've some achy joints, recovering from a setback or find the aerobics classes a little hard as the water helps to support your body.

Yoga & Pilates
Some people think fitness is all about sweating! But it's about more than just your lungs and your heart. How about developing your body AND your mind to create a healthy balance. These wellbeing classes are gentle, encourage flexibility through stretching, improving posture and breathing.
