South Gloucestershire Leisure has got the latest and best leisure facilities around.
Longwell Green Leisure Centre, at the Aspects Leisure Park, just off the Avon Ring Road is perfectly situated for the local community and means there is a centre near you wherever you live in the county.
The work on Longwell Green Leisure Centre started in 2005 with architects Feilden, Clegg, Bradley from Bath developing and designing a building using oak cladding, creating a really exciting modern building that moves leisure into the 21st century. The building has been put together with a low carbon footprint, and has a host of wizardry to work as effectively as possible with automatic light controls, which react to the outside and get brighter or darker as required.
When you get inside it's a treat of natural light and bright colours to give the centre a truly welcoming experience. Outside the landscaping has been worked on with over 50,000 wild flower bulbs planted which will give the building a unique setting over the coming years.
The swimming pools now have 450,000 litres of water in. We've got a whole range of activities from just swimming to aquafit and big bathtime every morning for families and young children to find out how much fun can be had splashing around.
The superb new Active Fitness Centre has been fitted out with state of the art Technoqym equipment. This hi-tech equipment will be complimented by plasma screen TV's and audio visual equipment that will keep you entertained while you while you train.

Parking is free at all our centres with allocated disabled parking close to the main entrances.
