Facilities for Customers with a Disability

We are committed to enabling customers to take part in activities in our Leisure Centres. Our aim is to make our centres easy to use for everyone, with modern facilities that are fit to meet the differing needs of our customers.

Leisure Centre Accessible Facilities:

Bradley Stoke

Accessible toilet, dedicated disabled changing room, height-adjustable changing table (poolside and dryside), poolside hoist, hearing loop at reception, lift to second floor.

Kingswood

Lift to lower floors, dedicated disabled changing room (poolside), mobile hoist.

Longwell Green

Accessible toilet, dedicated disabled changing room, height-adjustable changing tables (full room hoist coverage), poolside hoist.

Thornbury

Mobile hoist, wheelchair lift to Active Fitness Gym, separate disabled male and female changing, height-adjustable changing table, poolside hoist.

Yate

Accessible toilet, mobile hoist, height-adjustable changing table (full room hoist coverage), dedicated disabled changing room (poolside), poolside hoist, lift to first floor.

General Accessibility:

• Dedicated parking spaces for disabled badge holders
• Where height-adjustable changing stretchers are provided full room hoist coverage is given with overhead tracking systems for use with customer's own slings.
• We run the IFI (Inclusive Fitness Initiative) scheme at 3 of our Active Fitness Gyms for further details please visit www.inclusivefitness.org
